I came across you & what you do quite unexpectedly even though the thought of returning to practising yoga has been in my subconscious for at least 20 years.
I did not anticipate how much you & yoga would affect my life.
I have a few health problems, not least affected by lifestyle, and have been inspired by your dedication to people & at last have begun to work at improving my health.
It has been a truly delightful & worthwhile experience for the past almost 2 months. I always look forward to my weekly session and you are a constant source of enjoyment and encouragement.
My daughter has told me often of the difference she sees in me since starting yoga. She sees the change to my appearance & attitude. She feels I am more confident in myself, more positive & enjoying life. I am happy to say
She has now embraced yoga herself & no doubt will benefit from the changes it will bring to her life.

I just wanted to say thank you for all your support this year. I am in a much better place than I was last year at this time. It has been wonderful doing your yoga class. It has helped me with my running and particularly preventing injuries. I cannot imagine not doing yoga regularly. I am so happy I met you and I feel, also, very lucky because of it.
Thank you for meeting me this past semester and hearing me talk. Coming to you has really helped my anxiety out more than I have imagined. You showed me different methods on dealing with issues and I will continue to use them on a daily basis no matter how hard it may be. I am very lucky to have gotten you as a counselor. It was awesome having that yoga session we had because it opened up different options for me by showing how yoga can help relax you. You went above and beyond just sitting in a room and talking. I really am going to miss coming to our weekly sessions and I hope I’ll run into you sometime again. I just can’t thank you enough for everything. You really are amazing at what you do and an amazing listener as well.

I want to thank you for getting me through a rough time in my life. You go through life thinking everything is fine and then life throws you a curve some adjust, some don’t. So just need time and a little help. I wish you all the best, and again much thanks.
I remember how down and hopeless I was feeling and I clearly remember your first phone call. I didn’t really understand exactly who you were or how you had gotten my name and number in the first place. I just heard a warm voice on the other end of the line and it felt nice knowing that someone was looking out for me even if I didn’t know who she was. You told me you were going to follow up in a week to see how I was doing and I didn’t really think you were going to, I just figured that was what you said to people. When you called back the second time, it was hard for me to believe that you were truly concerned and that you were insistent upon seeing me and following up with my care. If you hadn’t done so, I would have never met you, come in for therapy, returned for therapy, and ultimately, recovered.
I guess I just wanted to tell you this because no matter what I do from now on, I know I am in a better place because of you and I stop and think about that quite often. I’m aware that much of the hard work was to my credit as well, but you were truly a guiding force for me during those critical years. I’ve seen just a couple of therapists since having worked with you, and it kind of sucks because I don’t know if anyone will ever match up. I can’t help but compare everyone to you. I feel blessed that you called me that day and I know my life would have been different if you hadn’t. I think of you all the time, and feel simultaneously sad that you’re not a part of my everyday life anymore, and grateful that you once were.

Thank you very much for running the Yoga Workshop for the AIMS Metzger Community. All of the students that showed up to the program enjoyed it very much and gave the program the highest ratings on the surveys, 5 out of 5s straight down the column. It was an enlightening evening for everyone that attended. Not only have the students learned that there are services here on campus that are available for them if they are undergoing a difficult time, but they have also had the opportunity to experience what yoga is and how it can be beneficial to practice it. If nothing else, we all, myself included, learned to look a little deeper into ourselves and re-evaluate the actions we take on an everyday basis that can cause us to become stressful. For this, the residents of Metzger 2nd floor are grateful!
